Yes, our factories also produce for well-known brands such as Balenciaga, Acne Studios, Ganni, and Off-White.

At Labwear Studios, we’re reshaping the future of fashion by disruptive the conventional way of manufacturing garments and driving innovation over mass production. Our top-tier technology, LabwearOS, empowers brands, towards a more agile and efficient supply chain.

Our HQ is based in Switzerland, our production is located in Braga, Portugal, and our blanks are shipped from a Portuguese fullfilment centre.

Our cotton is carefully sourced from Brazil, Turkey, or India.

At the moment, we have a total of 16 factories. This includes CMT factories and sub-suppliers.

We manufacture in Portugal and have very close relationships with all our partners. They comply with the regulations set by the Portuguese government and the EU. These factories are family-owned businesses that care for their people and pay fair living wages.

We don’t own the factories we work with, but we have strong partnerships with them. Our formal contracts set clear expectations for quality, safety, and ethical standards, allowing us to maintain high standards while staying flexible and responsive to market needs.

A tech pack is a detailed document that outlines all the necessary information to produce a garment. It includes design sketches, materials, measurements, construction details, colour codes, and production instructions. It ensures designers and manufacturers to be always on the same page.

While we're here to support you, it's important to remember that your clothing is the foundation of your brand, and you should be the creator behind it, not us.

Generally, we do not allow factory visits as we have over 300 clients, and having too many visitors can disrupt our production schedule. However, we are working on developing a public factory concept in the future.

Generally 50pcs but depending on the complexity of your fabric selection and customization, it can go up to 100pcs.

We don’t provide content creation or production footage from the factories, as our monthly visits don’t always align with garment production timelines. However, we’re here to support you with marketing and brand strategy.

LabwearOS offers direct access to over 15 top factories in Portugal, with a low MOQ of 50 to reduce overproduction. The platform ensures transparency by allowing you to monitor the entire production process, providing real-time updates and dedicated support. Unlike managing production independently, LabwearOS streamlines sourcing, quality control, logistics, and risk management, making the process more efficient and responsive to market needs.

Getting started with your design on Labwear OS is simple. First, create an account on the platform. Depending on your needs, we offer different subscription options to suit your project. Once you're set up, you can create a draft and download the tech pack tailored to your garment. We encourage our clients to personalise our tech pack by adding their designs, measurements, and colour codes directly onto the file, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

Once the invoice is paid, we’ll prepare your files for production and send them for your approval. Production will start after your confirmation. Note that there’s a 1-2 week "production planning" period to secure trims and fabrics. If any delays occur, we’ll inform you promptly with an updated delivery date via the OS chat.

Timeline for sampling is 4-6 weeks and production another 5-7 weeks.

Successfully producing a garment requires careful planning and patience. We recommend that new clients plan at least 6 months ahead of their product drop. While we strive to streamline the production process, some steps simply cannot be rushed.
